Hello all,
This is Mayuko, JSA's Internal Vice President! 皆さんどうぞよろしくお願いします^^
This past Saturday, we held our annual Strawberry Picking event. This is my second time attending this event, and I look forward to it every year. I grew up in Carlsbad where the Strawberry Fields are located, so it's a pleasure for me to share a part of my hometown with JSA every year :)
Anyways, we left at around 1PM from Café Ventanas for the Strawberry Fields, and arrived at around 1:30PM. We all purchased our individual buckets (small, or large) and began strawberry picking!

Everyone had their own standards for what a Strawberry should be, so everyone's buckets were full of different kinds of strawberries. Some people filled it up way to the top!

Of course, like every year, a sort of war erupts between mostly officers of bombarding each other with either very ripe or very not-so-ripe strawberries. And before I knew it, strawberries were flying into the air. Of course, it's no where near intense as it may sound, but this always provides a few good laughs during the event.

After about an hour and a half of strawberry picking, all the members headed over to the new Corner Bakery across from the outlet mall for a late lunch and early dinner.

Overall, this event is a nice relaxing event that makes us forget our worries and allows us to enjoy life at a slower pace. I look forward to going again next year, and hope all our members had an enjoyable time!
